'24 Trust Issues

Trust is a delicate illusion, a fragile veil that obscures the true nature of our relationships. We tell ourselves that we trust our friends, our colleagues, and our loved ones, but in reality, trust is nothing more than a convenient lie we tell ourselves to maintain the facade of stability in our lives.

In my experience, trust is a dangerous game, a game that can only end in betrayal. I've seen it time and time again, in the business world, in my personal life, even in my own family. People are quick to betray your trust, quick to stab you in the back for their own gain.

But I'm not one to hold grudges. I understand that trust is a weakness, a vulnerability that can be exploited. So I keep my guard up, I keep my distance, and I never let anyone get too close.

Some might call it paranoia, but I call it survival. In a world where trust is nothing more than a commodity to be traded, I refuse to be a pawn in someone else's game. I'll keep my trust issues, thank you very much.
